The annual Wilsonville Kiwanis Kids Fun
Run brings together an estimated 1,500 people united in an effort to
raise money for local children’s programming. This community event
is coordinated for children ages 3-12 to promote physical fitness,
healthy habits, and fun competition.
The kids that participate in the race
are divided into age-appropriate categories that all race at varying
times during the event. Each kid that participates gets a free t-shirt
and medal, as well as free registration. Through a generous
sponsorship from Albertson’s, a free picnic breakfast and lunch is
provided for participants and families all day. There are also many
booths with fun activities and health screenings that occur
complimentary to all attendees.
All net proceeds from the Kiwanis
Kid’s Fun Run are used by the Wilsonville Kiwanis Club’s Outreach
Foundation to provide grants and financial assistance to benefit
children in Wilsonville, Oregon. Over the past 7 years, the
Wilsonville Kiwanis Club has provided over $50,000 in grants, with

provide this event free for the public, which is made possible by our
